The Passion Behind Pivot

For those of you who don’t me, I have a gentle giant behind everything I do!

This man does everything and then some for me! He truly has the ‘Midas Touch’…everything he touches turns to gold.

When I pivoted to leave from working in corporate leadership positions, he was the first person to say, “HELL YES!!” He saw me work endlessly to achieve my “dream” which was never achievable-working overtime, on call, no recognition, and working within never ending politics when ALL I wanted to do was make a difference and help people!

Here’s the thing…. if you have a gentle giant or cheerleaders beside you telling you that you are capable and that there is MORE, you GO FOR IT!!!  Is it easy??? Hell no!! Is it worth it?? Hell yes!!  Anything worth going after requires tenacity, patience, and those in your corner who believe in YOU!

Pivot exists because of this man! Could I do it without his support? Damn right I could! But it is sweeter when your best friend and husband supports you 100%. 

While I would love to toot my own horn, I could not be where I am without this man.  He accepts my strong will, my independence, my tenacity, and the hours I put into helping others.  

So today, I thank Tyler-my husband, my love and my best friend for pushing me to pursue my passion
